NETATMO API evolution

Hi Fibaro team. There will be a Netatmo API evolution for access... Could you update the HC2 plugin in order to take account of this evolution.

Netatmo API Security Update

Dear Netatmo developer,

To improve the security of our products, we inform you that the Client Credentials grant type method will be completely removed. It will no longer be possible to authenticate with the username and password of the user. The effective date of this update is October 2022. How can you authenticate with Netatmo API ? From this date, the OAuth2 authorization code flow must be followed for authentication. You can find details on this method on our website:

Log in Go on your account Select the application for your test Click on "Generate a Token"   You can now use this Access Token for 3 hours.

@CorceiroSankotronic allowed me to testing his beta netatmo QA for HC3 / HC3L since september 2023. It's working fine. You can ask him, if you can get it too?

My HC2 is working fine with UHAS (140 VD's and 101 scene) and 115 z-wave devices, but I'm reaching HC2 limits and I do not plan to add much more. Since some of the integrations are lost (Twinkly lights as example) I will focus more to HC3.

 

I will continue to give support for HC2 UHAS and I'm preparing one more update which will bring mostly some corrections to existing solutions. Adding more integrations to HC2 UHAS is not planned in short terms since my free time is limited and I prefer to invest most of it to HC3.
