Quick App to put a 'get' call to Bitwise/PushControl to control AV

thenujnuj

Question

I have recently migrated from HC2 to HC3.

In HC2 I had few virtual devices to make a HTTP GET calls/commands to another device (Bitwise/PushControl) over an IP in local network to control an AV equipment. How do I achieve this with quick apps?

In HC2 the VD had the following example config:

IP = 192.168.60.32

TCP Port = 8080

call to make/execute is = GET /cgi-bin/dobwc?bwc:macro:10:HTTP/1.10x0D0x0A0x0D0x0A

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

PD: I tried to get my head around the QuickApp but I am struggling as there are a lot of forum chats but failing to follow the some basics with some good examples to make me understand how I can go about writing one.
