Smoke Sensor FGSD002 - Smoke Detector Tampering, product cover removed

Hi,

 

after i attached the sensor to the ceiling with a universal kit (magnetic Holder) the following error occoured -->  Smoke Detector Tampering, product cover removed (manipulation detected)

 

so my questions:

• how can i reset this message because the product cover never removed ?
• The official mounting plate / Kit for this sensor - Attach to the ceiling ?

i guess the magnet itself not but the mouting plate to get it on the ceiling

And did you used it in combination with the original mount?

 

(I think the original mount is mandatory to get it working)

ok understand - which is the original mount in my package were only two screws and dowels - so I can not attach the smoke detector, right?

double sided tape perhaps

There should be a thin plastic cap included, like above in this picture

ok with this plastic cap there is no way to mount the sensor to the ceiling, it is only a protection for the battery - a classic mount is probably not provided, I wonder where to put this

You can screw the plastic cap to the ceiling.
