What zigbee version is supported with HC3?

Question

Posted

The specifcation of the most new Zigbee devices describe that they support the Zigbee 3.0 protocol.

Is the HC3 also support this Zigbee version?

I have try to add a Bosch Smart Home radiator thermostat ii with Zigbee 3.0 compatibility but that was not successful.

Now I will try that with the Aqara radiator (also Zigbee 3.0 compatible), will that work?

Best Regards

Peter

ZigBee 3.0 is supported, but that does not mean much, it only guarantees that you can "join" the device

ZigBee support is beta and focused on switches and lights, so no thermostats

There are 2 initiatives to share compatibility

It seems it’s staying in BETA for ever … disappointing track of Fibaro.

I managed (not difficult at all) to add an Aqara Thermostat E1 but that's all.
Home Center 3 says "Zigbee devices: 2", but the thermostat doesn't show up among the installed devices...
