Question

Posted

I have a camera that only has an rtsp connection.

Example:
rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/0/av0

I need to connect it in HC3. It is possible?
I see an RTSP configuration option there, but it doesn't work.

You have a separate field for the RTSP port in the beta firmware, I don't in (in the stable version) firmware

that will indeed not work to enter rtsp:// into other fields, there are filters etc.

Hello, anyone succesed connection ip camera to mobile app via RTSP link?

My camera supports RTSP and link together with user and pass works in VLC Player.

Added the same values to HCL3 and in mobile app (ver 1.19) it says "connection with camera error".

Is there any solution to solve that problem?

I've got Kenick cam. On android app (locally) it doesnt work. Is it worth to write at Fibaro support in this case? Are there any other solutions?

That depends a bit on, if you realy want the rtsp stream of jpg/mpeg (image like) stream.

I can’t get the rtsp stream on my Hikvisions cams. I think something in the cam configuration self.

I don’t know the Kenick cam, is the rtsp stream and configuration complicated?

Ok, will try to contact Fibaro. RTSP stream is default configurated on camera. Its no problem. It works on smart tv app, vlc player etc.

@btdix No issues with network configuration? Cams should be reachable from the HC3 network address? (Maybe the HC3 is in a different VLAN)

Hey, I also have a problem with Ezviz cameras (it's a Hikvisions brand). In VLC I have a perfect image, and in Fibaro HC3, because of many battles and attempts in configuration, there is still no image. The latest firmware in HC3 is: 5.141.59 (beta)

I have the path rtsp://login:[email protected]:554/channel1

depends, i have no issues with RTSP since more than a year, except stupid EZVIZ firmware updates which turns off from time to time RTSP.
