Master\ Slave setup with Zwave 3.0

RaoulMaas

Question

Good afternoon everyone,

I have been searching this forum but I could not get a well enough answer.

I have 2 Home Center 3s running in my house. one is in the mancave which is to far from the main Home Center Device to connect all the devices from the mancave, to that home center.

I wanted to setup the home center's in master\slave connection, but when I try to do that its still red (zwave protocol).

Please login or register to see this attachment.

Im thinking about reverting to zwave 2.0 (but i think ill lose my entire config, can validate?)

Or is it known if the Master\Slave functionality on Zwave 3 will be available somewhere soon?

Thanks in advance.

ps.

this is my fist forum post, so im sorry if i broke some rules :D

@RaoulMaasHello and welcome to the community.

I've done this two month ago, with a hc3. I've asked Fibaro support. They've told me, the only way to change from ZW3 to ZW2 zwave engine, is to start from scratch.

I dont know, if this will change soon?

I've you need a zwave repaeter to connect your two hc3, I recommend the

. If used with 230V power supply, it becomes a zwave repeater also. This is the best zwave repeater, I have seen so far.

It also has a lot of other usefull features.
