Control HomeKit with HC3

kucza83

Question

Hi

Is there a way to control HomeKit products from HC3?

I have at Velux Netatmo bridge, and it is compatible with HomeKit. But i would like to control the velux products within the netatmo bridge from a z-wave switch from my HC3

I have read about the Homebridge, and what i can understand is it not possible. Is that correct?

Anyone have a better idea?

Directly is not possible, but if you user homebridge, you can manage this using API

As I know (I use it) HomeBridge is the other way around. Make the HC3 available to Apple HomeKit. With the API you can control devices made available with HomeBridge and that is not aware of other HomeKit connected hubs/devices.

I would prefer home assistant instead, then use a quick app made by the forum user rangee, that you can find on this link:

and you ll get if not all, most of your devices to HC3.
