Graphical visualisation of temperature

Question

Posted

Hi,

I am using Fiibaro HC3. I would like to see how temperature in my house changed in time, to better optimize air-conditioning, which I control vie Samsung smart things app.

My question is, how can I see temperature graphs? I red, that it is in device setting in advanced.  Unfortunately, I have for all my devices, measuring temperature same graph with straight line. Sensors normally showing actual temperature correctly, issue is history. See examples from more my devices (motion sensor, smoke detector, open close door sensor)

Appreciate your help/advice or link to thread, where is described how can I see this graph.

Thank you very much for support.

There is some bug in the system right now...don't know if on all systems, but in some of my systems all the data just disappiered, and always showing straight line.. So this is a bug. I have reported it, so it will be fixed i hope.

ON the other hand, if the bug will be fixed, you will see the graphs exactly where you are showing on pictures...on the advanced tab

Ok, this is quite significant bug, if it is because of this reason.

Is there another way, how to get this values, for example some app, which do logging?

i am not sure, but probably there is some possibility getting these data from Fibaro API, but i have never worked with it, so i dont know..maybe somone else can give you some up an running quickapp for it.

I bit more difficult, you could export all values to InfluxDB and use Grafana to show nice graphs.

Did you try to reset the graphs, at my HC3 the temp graph shows correctly.

Maybe a data history reset (right button under the graph) will do the trick?

Hi, can you specify where? Clicking to everything a see nowhere button for history reset. Strange is, that same situation is in every device.

    Thx.

I made a mistake, I thought the button was a reset button. 🤪

@RevanHi, in my case on hc3 and hc3l, all the temp graphs are there, with the latest FW 5.140.17.

Did you try a soft reconfiguration or exlude/include on one of your devices? You can also try to include with/without security.

Hi, yes this soft reconfiguration I tried. Have no effect. Issue is, that I did not checked this before in previous versions. So, do not know, if it really worked before or not.

Anyhow, Have two motion sensors, one door sensor, smoke detector, flood sensor. None of them shows graphs of any value. Seems not single device issue to me.

    Somehow,

it started to work 14.9.2023 for all devices, without any action from my side. No idea why. Anyhow, my problem is solved.
