FGD-212 and motion sensor.

Hello,

I'd like to use a FGD-212 to control a light into a corridor. I'll use a rule (send by my Eedomux box) to set the FGD-212 at 100% during the day and 20% during the night.

I want to start the light by connecting to the FGD-212 a motion sensor. I'm thinking of using two Legrand Ecodetecteur 078458 (2 wires sensor) which are already located at both side of the corridor.

Is it possible to connect a motion sensor to a FGD-212 (as a toggle swich) ?

As the motion sensor need to be connected all the time to the electric source, does the FGD-212 provide some power to the motion sensor at any time ?

Hello.
Short answer: It is not possible to combine it like this!!!

Long answer: Connect the relay winding to the sensors instead of the light bulb. Then switch inputs S1 and S2 on the FGD-212 module with the relay contact.
Pay attention to the minimum load on Legrand sensors 0.02A (or 3W according to the manual). Functionality must be verified.
Good advice over gold: Use a detector with a relay output instead of a semiconductor element. Sometimes they have a voltage output, but they only switch the phase with an internal relay.

Hello,
I assume you wanted to control the same thing from both places.
This is what the picture is drawn for.
If you wanted to use switch S1 to turn the light on and S2 to turn it off (with a connection to different sensors??), you would have to separate the sensors and add a relay to the second sensor as well.
You're trying to fit one two-wire system to another and it just won't work. Try it with a relay and see. If you have already purchased items, this will be the smallest item.
