All ZigBee devices disconnected...HELP

Question

Posted (edited)

Today I encountered such an error. All ZigBee devices are disconnected. One Zwave device was also not responsive and HC3 reported one device with depleted battery. That also wasn't true. Then it was software update. Nothing happened.. Then I made cloud restore and i recovered z wave device and battery report disappeared but still all ZigBee devices are dead. Dead in HC3 because all work fine manually.

Any idea?

I join this question, I have the same problem. After the last update (beta), this happened to me for the second time. The only solution is to remove the device and connect again. I don't know what the problem is and how to solve it.

Maybe you could tell us:
HOW many devices do you have??
"Z-Wave and ZigBee"

Are there any Fibaro "RGBW" controllers (NOT RGBW2) installed?

Ahoj, podařilo se někomu problém vyřešit?

I had the same problem a month ago, wrote to support, gave remote access and no output from it! I have been having this problem about 3 times in the last year! I absolutely don't understand, the whole zigbee network dies!

Well, Fibaro Zigbee is in beta, so you can sit down and first cry and then destroy one of the cheapest zigbee devices just to dissipate your negative energy and after that either go for another solution or just reset all zigbee devices and re-include them again until the next disaster.

Unfortunately dear @MaciekJ there is no solution, at least as long as we don't know the reason. Some people say that there is a bug when using a zigbee device on a scene that for some reason is not available, then whole system crushes with result of losing all zigbee devices.

To be honest I didn't try to include my zigbee device to Fibaro if I cannot use scenes with. So all my zigbee are on homeassistant zigbee2mqtt. The fact that zigbee is still on beta is just an excuse that some people buy. If you considered that on the very first presentation of Fibaro HC3 was clearly mentioned of its zigbee capabilities then FIBARO released a product with no zigbee, somehow in a magic way every refer on zigbee was vanished. (Btw in that time zigbee functionality release was a fool's day joke here on forum). Then 3 years later fibaro or nice or yubii released that zigbee beta you use now for about 2-3 years. So no excuses.

I share this frustration! We have whole house with Zigbee and face the problems of devices shown as disconnected, while controllable /status not being updated after having switched on/off via Fibaro/lossing contact to random lights.

It might be also a result of distance to the HC.

I spoke to Fibaro hotline - friendly call but clear understanding that Zigbee is Beta, no insights to solve problem and no timeline for end of beta...

I would use a “nice” Fibaro Homecenter with Zigbee devices. It is like giving a surgeon a shovel to operate on a patient. Just stick to Z-Wave.
