I tried to do the update without backup, NON-FUNCTIONAL ! When backing up the settings, the system reboots and again the system is ready for the update ! I think there is a reboot error ! I wonder if the error will be fixed somehow.

Unchecking backup creation is not na actual workaround for this issue, internal backup (for automatic recovery) is created anyway regardless od this setting.

 

As explained before please contact support.

Resolved, everything is working, I uploaded the sw via recovery mode , I received the file from fibaro support. thank you

Updating from 5.141.50 to 5.142.83 went without problems, but have only one z-wave eye included and bunch of Quick apps installed.

Same Problem here, no cloud backup, no lokal backup and no Update, after that, HC3 opens home screen with no changes. 

UPDATE: 1. RECOVERY and then 2. UPDATE to 5.142.83 (Beta) ist the Solution! Then Cloud backup and Local Backup work again!
