I have a HC3 in a 3 storey villa, concrete and steel mesh floors, so Z-Wave signal is poort

Question

Options are plug-in modules to act. As a bridge on each floor, or put another HC in basement…

Would it matter if HC2 or HC3Lite?  Would both do as well?

@GreyPaintYou can only setup master - slave configurations with the same fibaro homecenter generation. Look

If you just need a larger z-wave mesh network, I recommend to place zwave repeaters on the floors.

The best zwave repeater I've seen so far, with +13dBm, is the fibaro walli controller

. It's not expensive and can be used to start scenes, has a temp sensor, indicate states, etc.

For instance, beside the zwave repeater function, I use it to indicate the water boiler temperature with different colors in 5 degrees steps.

Fabir, how do you get the boiler temperature?  Do you use a sensor?

Also, I presume the ‘smart wall plug’ also acts as a bridge/repeater?

@GreyPaintEvery zwave device with a power supply can act as repeater. But not every zwave repeater does help the same for the zwave mesh network. For instance, I'm disapointed by the aeotec zwave repeater.

For years, I've placed fibaro double switch fgs-223 moduls in order to help build the zwave network. Until I found the walli controller as described above. The walli controller is one of most useful fibaro devices.

For the boiler I'm using fibaro smart implant and DS18B20 temp sensors. Look below.
