Question
gurpal2000 3
HC3 on 5.140.17
Dimmer 2 firmware 3.5
5 x 7W LEDs
Bypass installed (regardless)
3 wire setup
1 physical momentary switch
Parameters don't look off and say that it detects everything as dimmable (ask if you need a dump)
Expectation:
1. single click acts like a toggle ON/OFF resuming the last known brightness level
2. pressed controls the brightness (either ascending or descending) depending on which 'way' you were going in (1)
3. I should be able to reach 0% which should be interpreted as OFF
4. I should be able to reach 100% (what's the 99% about?)
5. anything >0% is ON, =0% is OFF
Yubi app (and HC3 web): ON and OFF is 99% and 0%.
When 0% the system determines it as OFF.
When the physical switch is pressed from darkness, i can reach 99% (says the app when watching it)
When the physical switch is pressed again, it will reach 1% ONLY. It will NOT reach 0%. Therefore the system thinks it's "ON".
Calibration done numerous times (assuming i'm doing it correctly via the B button routine etc)
Doesn't matter if bypass is there or not, but I install them anyway.
Also some lag via the physical switch (app is relatively quick for any operation), no idea why, and to go from say 99% to 1% seems to take like 5-7 seconds.
I have about 3 of these all behaving weird like this.
Could it be a HC3 issue (I am reluctant to install the latest BETA as of writing) OR a Dimmer f/w issue?
thanks
