Device for heating not shown properly on HC3

ygi

Question

Hello,

I have recently upgraded to HC3, And I noticed a strange behaviour on the tales shown in the HC3

I have go for my heating a Secure SCS317 (Thermostat) and SSR303 (relay for the heating)

SSR303 is shown as a value in its tile while this should be shown as a switch, as you can see in the pictures.. have you an idea ?

@ygi I don't know your SCS317 and SSR303 devices. Therefore I can only try to help you generally.

If a zwave device isn't working as expected you can try the following:

-Restart hc3

-update your hc3 to the latest firmware 150

-soft reconfiguration of the zwave device. In case of a battery powered device, you have to wake it up, in order to finish the configuration.

For my unterfloor heating I'm using fibaro double switch modules to switch the valves and a separate temp sensor for each heating zone.

With this devices I've created a virtual thermostat for each heating zone.

Maybe you can do the same with your devices. Lock below the setup for the virtual thermostat.

@ygiWhen I changed from hc2, hcl to hc3 and hc3l, there where several zwave decives, also fibaro devices, who behaved differently.

Which zwave engine did you choose? Zwave engine ZW2 or ZW3?

    SSR303

From a protocol perspective, it is actually a thermostat with 2 modes (off, heat) and that is why is it shown like this.
On the old platform (HC2) it was shown as a switch due to the limitation of the old Z-wave engine.

So in theory it works as the producer designed it in the first place.

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your answers

If it is designed as it is, how do i have to understand the tile showing 0.00 ? which shows no difference when Off or Heat ?

On the other hand, in the yubii application on my iphone, here it is shown, but I cannot change its mode.. nothing happens when i click on it
