Presence detection, only works work iPhone

I have configured Presence detection in our home using iphones

Cons

- it only works work with iPhone but that is fine for my use case.

I also use HomeBridge

Pros

You dont need to Install Anything at the Phones.

 

I created a dummy switch in HC3 per User,

and named each switch  the unique Username

I created a user HomeBridge in HC3 and gave access to the virtual User switches.

Use this User in HomeBridge under Basic settings For Sync.

Then i configured two Automations per User in Apple Home at one of the Phones (using Family sharing)
