Turn notifications on/off in LUA

MiZ

Question

Hi all!

I hope someone can guide me, as I have not managed to find any solution elsewhere...

I would like to turn the settings for notifications found under each device on/off with LUA code, is that possible?

Yes you can with the API. For the correct syntax check the swagger documentation for deviceNotifications:

https://<YOUR-HC3>/#/deviceNotifications/getAllDeviceNotificationsSettings

From Lua code you can use the api like:

Please login or register to see this code.

Unfortunatly I'm not that used to swagger... Can someone help me with a LUA script to turn all (except for device 123) notification off resp. on?

How many devices do you have?

(it isn't that much work to disable the notifications, unless you have hundreds of devices. I wouldn't recommend turning off (or on) all notifications btw, they have a function. Turning them all off (or on) sounds a bit like driving your car with a on/off gas pedal 🚀)

  • I have 30-40 devices. You are offcourse right, some of them should be left on for security reasons. So mainly I would like the syntax to turn one/all notifications for a device on/off.
