New Yubii Home App - update

Hello

I cant open any new topic within Update section, so i write it here.

The new App is really nice. 

There is some issues with LOCK device icons and state relations.

App shows the opposite icon.

It shows what will happen when you click the button, it is an action button - not state
Actually, as designed.

I am glad that someone is already checking what we were cooking for some time now - waiting for more feedback 🥳

Ahh okay, it was a little bit counterintuitive but okay..

The app seems really promising..incomparably better than it was.Congratulation

Me and my team will deeply test it in upcoming days, and will come back to you with some feedback.

One thing to metnion, that is very very frustrating..We can not see RSTP stream while out of home, this is really missing.

There will be an option to set in IP Camera the external IPs, so if you will configure the cameras to be available on some port - you will be able to use it.

2. In energy panel it shows consumption in green color with +. It should be like in older app in red with -.

HTML in new view is not supported, it is not a webview anymore - it is native part of the app now.

You can always use the old view, in QA settings there is a magic checkbox for backward compatibility:

But, from the other hand - when you create a QuickApp based on one of generic types - like color controller... it will look like this in app:

For sure you can expect improvements in both mechanisms (native and custom one) in the future

@m.roszak Is there a way I can sort the sections or why doesn’t it show the section in the order it was ordered in the dashboard?

1. HTML support in QAs is really a missing feature. It would be better to have HTML support right in LUA editor, so we can change button colors, letter colors, size etc directly on the HTML element, but as it is not possible, we need to use HTML code in LUA code, to make QA more user friendly.

Selecting the QA device type is not a solution for many scenarios, as mostly complex QAs does not user any template, rather are initiated as generic device.

2. Can't place cameras to Navigation bar, neither create a shortcut for it in any way. The same goes for energy panel.

The app is very nice.
I am having an issue that many of my clients do not see the old Yubii application in the IOS shortcuts.
Does the new Yubii app have that function?

Do you mean security (NL=Bewaking) in the bottum navigation bar?

@m.roszak If you use the new Yubii app with a HC3 on the stable firmware, it doesn’t show quickapp labels at all?

i don't like the way one have to choose between gateway, sure for typical user not an issue.

 

What i still miss are graphs for temperature, humidity, multisensors, power .. you know, all the things every other smart home app has

@m.roszak Michal, i am havinbg toruble with QAs. Some of them are not visible in new APP anymore. I have unchecked the "Use the new view in mobile app" checkbox, but still nothing.

It is a generic device type QA. Quite big, for irrigation, but i can not see it. I am logged in as admin.

And also need to be mentioned, that App sometimes complains about "Please log in to local network"..

@m.roszak Michal, please, at least allow full screen for old QA devices. Years of work are now useless. QAs can not be used like this.

This makes us roll back everywhere to the old app, as almost every customer is using our QAs for irrigation.

yep, i like now the add scenarions from App, one can't run or delete them anymore by mistake.

Sure the logic is bit strange for me, "do something, option if something, and optional only if", but probably for most users exact what they need "just do something".
