Question

Hello
To connect a device via MQTT to HC3, do we need additional devices e.g..
RaspberryPIE + SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle?

Or do we only need HC3 and a written QuickApp?

Why not try typing MQTT in the search window above?

    You're thinking about this topic?

It is so I saw it and from what I understand we need to have additional devices such eg. Rapberry Pie
But when I asked the same technical support I received the answer that:

"Integration should be possible by writing Quickapp. You can find more information at

Please login or register to see this link.

    "

So therefore, I created this thread to dispel my doubts.

"I also have to admit that I'm a bit confused, but I guess you need to run a broker/bridge on Pi or as a docker on NAS (my plan). Ideally, have a way to make HC3 connect and use this and not depend on the Zigbee HC3 that we were told would be done and working by end of 2020. or was that 2021, or 2022, ...........?

I know many of the aggressive Fibaro Fanboys that look to hunt down anybody who's not using Z-wave with toxic comments and rude remarks, like seen above, will also comment on my post.

They damage the community and prevent solutions to issues that I, as an HC2, HC2 Light, and HC3 owner, and certified installer, would like to have fixed. Why do so few share ideas and ask questions?

Yes, this is not the original account I'm posting from. None of the Z-wave solutions offer good power meter tools. The things you can do with ZigBee as extra value are the only things that have my HC3 plugged in, and I have one foot in the door. The Fibaro Z-wave-only club is the Betamax of Videotape."  Im a person who just wants to see good films at good value in any format
