Question

Hello

I am using several (it is 29) Walli Roller Shutters (GWREU-111).

Most of them work fine, but some of them seem to have incorrect power consumption indication. The one with this "bug" need adjustement in the parameter 155 (Limit Switch Power Threshold). Only if this parameter is adjusted, the mode "Venetian Blind with positioning" works (at least partially). In case I use the default value for parameter 155 (which is 10W), these blinds only move for about 1sec and then stop. After adjusting parameter 155 positioning works, but there remain some issues with the related devices: (a) self calibration does not work, (b) positioning of blinds sometimes works incorrectly and incorrect position is indicated and (c) setting the slats angle does not work correctly.

The devices that work fine are indicating a power consumption (while moving the blinds) of about 80W, while the ones that show the problem are only indicating 0,7W. I expect this is not a problem of my installation, all motors are the same and electric installation seems to be correct and identical for all of them.

Thanks for any support.

Bernhard

Looks like some of them have build-in controller inside, that's why those are controlled by signals, not current.
The only solution will be to set it as a roller shutter with a build-in driver and set the movement time manually - it won't work correctly with the venetian blinds anyway unfortunately.

    thanks for your fast reply.

This means, you suggest that my motor controllers (the installed hardware at the blinds) are not all the same. I will check that carefully.

For now, I configured the blinds as venentians and then manually set the different parameters (durations and power threshold) individually.

It works generally, but sometimes the "current_positions" (both of blind and slats position) get incorrect and then positioning gets incorrect. After I fully closed the blinds, things the work again.  I will make some tests whether it is more reliable when configures as roller-shutter with built in driver.

Generally, even though the functionatlity is slightly compromised, I can realise the automation I need.
