HC3 is unable to connect to WiFi

Question

Posted

Dear Support Team,

We are having trouble connecting our Fibaro HC3 device to a Wi-Fi network. We have verified that the Wi-Fi network is functioning properly. Please find attached screenshots of the error messages we are encountering.

Please login or register to see this attachment.

Based on our limited testing with Aruba WiFi, we suspect that the Fast Roaming (802.11r) feature might be preventing the HC3 from connecting. We encountered a similar issue when attempting to enable Fast Roaming 802.11r on an Aruba AP, and the connection became successful upon disabling this feature.

Please help us fix this error. I understand that disabling Fast Roaming (802.11r) might not be a viable option for all Wi-Fi systems. If this is the case, there are alternative approaches to address the HC3's connectivity issues.
