net.HTTPClient get specific returned headers

Question

Posted

Hello,

I'm trying to access an api endpoint that returns me some headers (xsrf-token)

How can I get these headers in Fibaro LUA?

Here is my code.

function login(url)
sendData = '{ "userName":"user", "systemCode":"password",}'
net.HTTPClient():request(url, {
options = {
method = 'POST',
checkCertificate = false,
timeout = 1000,
data = sendData,
headers= {
['Content-Type'] = 'application/json',
["accept"] = "*/*",
}
},
success = function(response)
print ("Scene165", response.data) -- what I need here instead of response.data is to get specific headers. example: xsrf-token: x-o4hd5cs93uanhdli7stjpgm
end,
error = function(message)
print("Scene165", "HTTPClient error: " , " ", message)
end
})
end

Can someone help me with that, please?
Thank you.

    it looks like I need to do something like this:

    print ("Scene165", response.headers.xsrf-token)
    But it doesn't work if the header contains dash (-).
    It works if the header doesn't have "-" in name, for example print ("Scene165", response.headers.Date)
    How should I proceed if the returned header has "-" in the name?

    Try to put quotes around it.

    response.headers.”xsrf-token”

    Here is how it works:

    response.headers['xsrf-token']
    Thank you.
