Update to 4.10 failing

Question

Posted

All of my many Heat Controllers show the update 4.10 available in HomeCenter 3.
I was able to successfully update 3 Heat Controllers.
All others directly "fail" after initiating the update. In fact, that´s most of my Heat Controllers failing.

It´s not a state of charge issue as they are almost full and I was able to update devices with lower states of charge.

An ideas?

I think there is somehintg wrong with this FW, but eventually it can be done. It is somewhat slower, and a bit more sensitive to distance, but eventually the update can be done. Just be sure having the head 100% charged, and get it close to the hub. Dont do updates in the queue, rather do it one by one. It will work in most cases.

so, we all remember what the 4.9 did, I had to send 2 of mine for repairing.

now the 4.10 only updates how it wants (I tried already multiple ways, and the 1st time was fully charged), when I 1st tried was 2 months after this was 1st reported, and no luck.

it always gets stuck on target 2.

Today tried again charging to 100% and with the HC near the Heat controller, the same.

Hello, I've updated several heat controllers in the last days. For all of them I had the same situation, that is, Stuck on 50%. I have pushed the button (used the pin for older devices) in the first (blue) menu and then again to confirm (same operation as in the one when pairing with the external sensor) and it worked.

I have pushed also for more times (after entering in the blue menu) in one case but in all the heat controllers it worked. Somehow, in this blue menu the thermostat is awake and it will continue the second part of the update.

That is on HC3

Also I have a problem with one of the thermostats. It is not able to calibrate. Even after the update to 4.10. Everithing seems to be working alright. It's pushing the center of the thermostat in and out but it gives me the error message. Do you have any suggestions ?

I managed to update all four units to 4.10 without any problems, but only when they were connected to the charger.
