Guys i was struggling days and days to find how this works, and did not get assist from FIbaro..

I want to share with you the solutions that i have finally found, i hope this will help your coding.

Only way I find to reset it to the "Dark non targetable" 

Is by api put and modify device and hide the selecting bar "visible" part to false and then back again to true. But you have to go inn and out of the QA to refresh it 😅 
I guess it is like this you want the select bar to be untargetable?
