How do I get the status of an input on a Fibaro Smart Implant to report as a Door in Yubii

Question

Posted

I have just installed a Fibaro Smart Implant and connected a Fibaro Limit switch to report the status of the garage door (open or closed). How do I get it to display in Yubii as an Open Door in the Summary. Currently I have a door sensor reporting correctly in Yubii

Go to add device -> other -> quickapp -> Choose: Base shutter and give it a name -> wait for it to get added ->go to the general tab of the added quickapp and choose the role that u like.  (a type of garagedoor)

Then you can make some block scenes to change the state of the "Base shutter" quickapp you just added from the input of the smart implant 😁 This is the easiest way I know of.

otherwise you have to learn lua I think 🤔

Edit:

I might have misunderstood the question  🤔  to get it to show as the door open symbol you might have to choose a "Door sensor" instead of base shutter 😄
