Fibaro Window/Door Sensor is not resetting after detecting door being opened

Question

Posted

Hi,

I have a new Fibaro Window/Door Sensor on one door, but after the door was opened it will not reset to having the door closed, so it stays in 'open detected' mode and will not detect any changes.  I am pretty sure that the physical set up and everything is correct.

I have found some similar issues with Aeotec MS 7s

In most of the cases the problem is Z-wave coverage.

Could you please remove the sensor from the door and manually close/open the sensor near to the HC3 hub? Is it works?

If it works, I suggest adding Z-wave repeater somewhere in between the HC3 and the door.

I am using follow repeater, and it does work.
