2025: Fibaro Z-Wave Engine 3.0 or 2.0?

So... Reading posts from 2022, I found the usage of version 2 of the Z-Wave engine to be strongly discouraged. I can't find any updates for late 2024/2025. Is it still considered a beta and unsuitable for a production environment?

Hi FreeSpirits, 

 

Started from scratch in a new house about 2 years ago, with HC3. z-Wave 3.0. 

I have 85 devices connected, and have not encountered a single issue. 

That said, I am mainly using Fibaro modules and limited other zWave brands. 

 

I would go with 3.0 as changing later is a lot of work, especially if you have many in-wall switches.

I recommend you to be careful with 3.0.
Please read the following topic. As I know nothing changed until now.
