What to choose for a HC3 Slave - secondary HC3 or HC3L?

Question

Posted

Hi,

I'm having some issues with delays due to the distance between the house and the garage.

I simply want to add a secondary device as slave, and would like to get your advice on HC3 or HC3L.

Preferably I'd like to simply add the slave gateway, and then be able to freely move the devices that have range issues to the new slave without excluding and including them all over again.

Love to hear your view on pro's & con's for both HC3 and HC3L as slave device.

Thanks!

HC3L don't run all QAs due to Lua environment compiled for 32bits...

Okay, then HC3 it is. Any word on easy placement of devices, or nothing to alter there?

Yep, Z-wave won’t get that far

Simply put: When adding a secondary HC3 to my setup, do I need to remove devices to re-include them into the (new) slave HC3, or can I transfer the devices currently in the master HC3?
