Hi @m.roszak, @A.Socha,

Regarding this very recent problem with remote access I noticed that Yubii Home app uses ONLY REMOTE access even my iPhone is connected to my local network.

I still use the old FIBARO for iPhone app for my HC2 and this app has one very good option under the Settings:

and this really works as expected. During this problem with remote access servers I could still use Fibaro app to control my HC2 from iPhone connected to my local network.

Now this amazing, extraordinary, ground breaking, incredible and profound Yubii Home app didn't work on my iPhone connected to my local network.

What surprised me that there is no similar settings as in the old app and Yubii Home app does not even offered me to connect locally when remote access was not available!!!!

Since I was told by some Fibaro stuff that Fibaro believes and advertise that using mobile app is actually home automation I find it very surprising that Yubii Home app is actually downgraded regarding connections in comparison to the old Fibaro for iPhone app.

I also noticed that there is nothing about Yubii Home app and how to set it up at

I also checked Yubii Home Center app, the one that can almost work with HC2 and HCL. On the

video shows how to setup Yubii Home Center app by adding Home Center, then first provide local connection credentials and then finally to add Fibaro ID credentials for remote connection. Of course this seems to be outdated since latest version of this app does not have settings for local access.

Anyway, Yubii Home Center app has annoying popup window that recommends to download new version of Yubii Home app so I guess this one will not be maintained by Fibaro anymore?

I have only one question:

Why Fibaro removed local connection settings from new mobile apps and forget to provide selecting type of connection (local/remote) when there is a problem with remote connection as it happened already twice this year?

Thank you in advance for your valuable input!

So, in general new app works locally when you are inside the network. Just uses Fibaro ID as auth.

I know what you mean, I will discuss this with the team.

    Hi @m.roszak ,

I do not think so, since there is no local account settings which in my case is using different password. ;-) Also, during problems with remote access, my Home Yubii app could not connect to my HC3 even my iPhone was connected to my local network same as HC3. I wasn't even offered by Yubii Home app to connect locally....

This was maintained very well on the old Fibaro Home Center app and I just don't understand why it is not moved to new app. Must be that some developer was very excited during removing compatibility with old Fibaro boxes :-D

Yes I have to confirm, you can't log in locally when the cloud is down! About the only option would be to log out and log back in, how practical!
