HC3 gone sluggish?

Whilst nothing has about the setup has been changed lately (I have dozens of Z-Wave and a couple if Zigbee devises) it seems something on the network is causing scenes to react with what seems like a delayed response.    E.g. lights turn on after say 2-3 seconds whereas they used to be instant.    Diagnostics show low storage and cpu usage so I assume a device is responsible and somehow clogging the Z-Wave network. How do I find out which one?

Good that you've elimated your scenes as being a possible cause. You might want to check whether you've configured devices to send lots of periodic updates and turn those off (eg regular power and temperature reports). If you want to see what's happening on your zwave network then you need a "Zniffer"....search on this forum for more details.

Check in Settings -> Wave the Polling time interval settings. And you can reconfigure the mesh network there too.

The polling is default 300s, is this good or bad?

Also I found a Fibaro multi sensor is sending lux levels every 10 secs. I have set this to 0 disabled many times before but the parameter page always shows whirling settings.

What does the HC3 advice (text next to the interval)?

As mentioned above though I am unable to disable light reports from one sensor. It sends continuously every 2 or 3 seconds, the lux levels reported are erratic too.   I am thinking this might be the cause of sudden issues?

Maybe a faulty sensor? You can try to reconfigure it. Or remove it and add it again. (note that the device id does change then).

If you update the parameters on a battery device like the fibaro motion sensor you have to wake up the device to let it get the new settings
(take of the cover and hit the button 3 times and it wakes up and you will see the circle/loading be gone  )

I've done this many times before but tried again with a new battery.  Showing lux reports disabled now so see how long it stays like it, otherwise have to assume a faulty sensor.   I'll try factory reset/updating the firmware next in which case.   Thanks.
