Sensor and energy metering history gone

Question

Posted

Since a very long time (over a year - not really sure) I have no history on sensors or energy meters in the interface in my HC3.  Doing some checks in the database with code I got Copliot to assist me in creating. Looks like this:

The debug-response is:

This turns the same for any sensors type including energy metering. Both from Fibaro products and others manufactures too. I have a support ticket towards Fibaro on this since many monhts but I am not getting any response.

I am always on latest firmware (perhaps a week delay or so before upgrade when new versions are released). I did have history values before but I do not know from what firmware upgrade they went missing. It seems from the debuggning nothing is stored. Naturally I have made sure sensors are installed correctly. FOr instance a temp sensors i a room should be in Category "Climate" and have the role "temperature sensor". Also the box "save events to history" is checked. I tried to reinstall sensors. I just recently installed a couple of new sensors but same issue - nothing is stored.

All look like this in the interface:

It is interesting, share the ticket number please - you are mentioning "since many monhts" which seems strange.

Support finally came through a couple of weeks ago and issue has been solved. What was done was not disclosed but something on the database internal handling. Support logged on to my system and did something….
