All the things are reported, its a first beta will a lot of changes and don't worry - we will fix remaining issues.
Redesigning the interface resulted not only with visual changes but also some of the things was rewritten (to optimize and/or clear a bit the code).

So, yes - It may look like we did not ideal job here but system capabilities are huge and make sure that all the things work as supposed is not that easy.
Please be a little patient, we will figure everything out :)

@m.roszak Looks good, but the select lists in the android yubii home mobile app v 2.4.3 with the new beta build: 5.181.62 are all open at the same time and they don't close. Applies to webview. Will this be fixed. Have a nice day.

Hi @m.roszak,

I'm happy that you wrote this statement. Unfortunately for users it is not visible since there is no manuals that support all this HUGE capabilities. Only what we see is superficial changes that are often for worse and make our work pitiful and need constant corrections with almost every new firmware version, no matter is it stable or just beta.

Hmmm, it has been more than 5 years since HC3 came out and numerous updates were published, so I believe I'm a very patient user ;-)

Fibaro developer site

Please login or register to see this link.

was last updated in 2021 and knowledge base for LUA was last updated in 2020.

To conclude:

Fibaro obviously never changed thinking that ultimate automation is possibility to grab mobile phone to control lighting and some devices instead of walking to the wall switch. Therefore you really don't care about anything more advanced than just some simple quick apps with few buttons and some block scenes. That is why developer site was never updated. All new features are up to some enthusiast users (mostly retired) to dig all new possibilities by spending hours and hours of trial and error testing and then sharing findings with other users.

I just wonder then why your developers even spent so much time in developing new features when they are anyway hidden until some enthusiast find them?

Its tricky question, most of the things developed are done to support specific use-cases for very specific functions. Of course those can be reused and in most cases you are finding those.
Not all of those gets documented, I know that we are lacking in this area - actually, the bigger the system the more of a tricky job to make it done.

I will take this again for the internal discussion.

Hi @m.roszak ,

if you work on documentation parallel with making new features then it would not be so tricky. I guess it is tricky because developers that make some good features left the building and now it is difficult to document what they did? Not to mention how difficult is to continue their work? ;-)

You must be changing developers like socks, that is why it sucks for last 5 years :-D

Apologies for being so blunt :-)

of course you don't need to confirm my thoughts
