    What about Breakout?

Here's a demo, not playable (no controls - can be added, I imagine control it by rotary Philips Hue switch...).

But contains whole functional game engine, display moving ball, palette, bricks, detect collisions.

Just for fun, and to "prove" that it can be done.

If SVG can be hired to this, movement can be smooth and probably CPU load much lighter...

Well… I felt like playing around. Especially since I don’t have any new ideas for a useful script.

    Assumptions for the new version:

    - much faster

    - bigger bricks

    - more balls when hitting bonus tiles

    - ability to “spin” the balls (to avoid the game stall)

    - the paddle predicts ball bounces and doesn’t move unnecessarily

    - … but it makes random mistakes, like a human

    - game statistics

    - adjustable: max ball count, brick size, playfield height, speed

The game will be still automated (no manual control), but I wanted to play with the paddle’s “AI”.
If someone wants to add controls – a walli controller will work perfectly. It’ll break soon anyway, like every joystick.

Still have bugs, but here's a preview (can't make it smaller):
