ZIGBEE RTX TUYA ROLLER SHUTTER INTEGRATION PROBLEM

Hi,

 

Last month I purchased around 10 Zigbee roller shutter modules (Zigbee Curtain Model RTX ZCM1MR).

 

Today I added one of the devices to my HC3 system via the admin panel, but I wasn’t able to configure it successfully. The device appears as “not configured”, and there’s no option available to complete the setup from the control panel.

 

Could you please advise how I can properly configure these devices? I’d really like to get them working rather than having to purchase different models.

I’d greatly appreciate your help.

Sorry, but I have bad news. These do not have template for them in HC3, so they cannot be controlled from HC3. I recommend to use Roll-Control 2 or Roller Shutter 4 instead.

I bought already 12 of those... any other option to control all together? Zigbee gateway and connect it to HC3?

it is recommended to first investigate if wanted device is compatible with HC3 here:

or ask community if anyone tried such devices and what experiences had.

 

If you do not get answer wanted, then buy first only one to test. Zigbee is cheaper, but still some investigation before you buy is definitely recommended. Don't you agree?

NOTE - Please just don't start to complaining that Fibaro HC3 is bad because devices selected by you without planning are not supported.

If you have Amazon Alexa, try to use Tuya/SmartLife application with ZigBee hub and see if the devices shown in Alexa.

If it does, then you can control them from HC3 using Voice Monkey skill

I checked the supported devices and found Sonoff Mini ZBRBS, bough it. Again the same, the device showes up as not configured...
