updateView of a dropdown broken

Question

Posted (edited)

Using a dropdown still remains a nigthmare, however back in time clearing a dropdown with a workaround call below

Please login or register to see this code.

used to work. Now nothing works.. The code above totaly break the code..The view gets broken.

Using {} as below (what should be the correct call in my opinion) still doesnt work

It doesn't brake the view, but it doesn't work at all. (neither of below works)

Is there any new approach after the update??

Before pressing the clear

after pressing the clear using the first example call

the view gets broken

UPDATE
The syntax below seemed to work at first glance..

Unfortunatelly this doesn't work fully..When the clear applies, the dropdown doesnt refresh to a empty state (its ovious because we sent into it a {{""}} option)..at this point, user can still click on it (it shows Choose ) and whe user does click on it, the view gets broken  again.

The whole dropdown is buggy as hell..
