FIBARO id not connected or no internet HC3

Question

Posted

I’m having issues with getting acces to previously stored backup and am also not able to store new backup.

How do I connect my HC3 with my FIBARO id so that I can reinstall from previous backup or store new one?

When logging into the cloud from web browser and remote access I can see my HC3 and it has internet.

Please help!

Hello

You raise several different issues in this topic, I will try to help you.

  • I assume you can log in to HC3 in a local connection as admin/owner.
  • go to adres http://<HC3_IP_Address>/app/settings/backups
  • You will see there list of all backup (in cloud, local, if they made for request -(they stay always) or autobackup beetween update (only last 4 newest stay)

Can you clarify what you mean by not having access to the backup? Can't you see it on the list?
If you have it on a separate medium, have you tried the upload backup option?

What does it mean that you cannot make a new backup? What error message is displayed?

@A.Socha thank you for your reply.

the picture displays the error message I’m encountering.

sorry the setup is in danish.

backup in cloud not reachable and I cannot store local backup.

I did a complete factory reset a couple of days ago and had to connect all devices again due to I could not access previously store cloud backup.

And right now I’m not able to store a new backup/nor retrieve any due to the lacking connection between my Hc3 and my FIBARO cloud.

i have often store both a local and cloud backup.

hope that it makes sense to you.

can you paste me a red errors in english?

Probably that is some error with sync with Fibaro id, try restart hub, hub on start refresh certificate and sync with backup server, lets see if that helps

can you check if port 22 is open?

    @A.Socha error message in English.

    I cannot open port 22.

I can see that my ISP is using CGNAT I don't know whether that causes the problem?

Have tried a reboot several times and also resetting network settings in recovery mode. (no luck)

@A.Socha got my isp to give me a fixed ip-adresse, that also disabled CGNAT. So that my ip adress matches.
But problem remains. Did also reboot both my router and reset network settings on HC3 - and also tried auto repair and se whether time settings changed anything.

    But nothing has changed.
Still no connection to fibaro cloud.

@Carsten6000, 2* HC3 with same problem. Sounds like network problem, rather than HC3 problem Have you checked if your IP is not blocked/banned by anyone? Have you trued connect via Wi-Fi instead of LAN?

    Link to blacklist check:

    @Carsten6000

    so come on [email protected]

I saw that you started migration between hubs HC3-00013xxx -> HC3-00014xxx. and progress is in middle - that way it is not working, Support can stop migration and restore original hub

@A.Socha Right now the problem is not restoring so much (because I did a complete reset) and set up a new system, but I still need to be able to do a backup (and restore).

The reason why I had 2 HC3 - the 14xxx was working as a slave.

@Carsten6000  Probably by ancient you started a migration from one of your hub to second one, that is a reason why You got a problem, to fix it only support can. They can do that remotely, but they will need access to your hub. So please write ticket to support [email protected]

@A.Socha can this issue also cause that my sensors in the factory reset system also not work properly. I did a remove from z-wave first, then a reset of the sensor.
But often light scenes are not activated - when looking at the history it seems like the sensor does not detect motion (only from time to time).

Tried to change settings so the sensor responds more sensitive. But not working.

Have you got a good advice?
