Heatit thermostat modul in Fibaro never swiches off

Question

Posted (edited)
There is a problem with Heatit thermostats in the Fibaro system. They are fully supported in Fibaro (at last they should be)
Many thersmostats never turn off the electrical floor heating, and it can be dangerous!
Does anyone know about this problem?
Seems that the "thermostatOperatingState" never gets updated. Its always "Heating"

a thermostat itself does measure the temperature and it turns off itself, if Setpoint has been reached. Then, few seconds later in case of Heatit thermostates, it does send Idle or Off to lifeline.

So even if Home Center would show wrong thermostatOperatingState value, the thermostate itself would get properly off. No issue, for direct connected heating.
With electrical heating it is mandatory (for most manufacturers) / best solution, to use floor sensor and set the max temp for it to protect heating system.

When using associations, to control third part swiches, there is "state update interval" (in case of Z-Temp2, Z-Temp3, TRM6), which will force resend the set value based on interval, so even if something goes wrong the first time set has been changed, the next interval time it will get fixed.

Wrong thermostatOperatingState can be only dangerous, when you use it with QAs or scenes, to control third part switches, to turn on/ off electricat heating connected to them. The "state update interval" might help as well, and yeah check if lifeline is properly set.

It is a direct wired installation. And there are many cases where the measured temperature is way higher than the setpoint, and the thermostat still heats.
We dont control third party devices. The thermostat itself should switch off/on according to the temperature.
I tried some different parameters settings, but neither of them helped. Wrong thermostatOperatingState report by itself means only a false info if i read it from API thats correct, but i also see that the thermostat doesn't turn off heating. its power consumtion is  > 0 (some thousands of watts)
I have contacted Heatiti support..We will see what is their opinion.
    Thanks anyway

Maybe we should change the singlechanell association to multichanell?? for lifeline? Thats what came to my mind right now..

I doubt this would help, as the thermostat itself doesn't turn off its own output when its needed, so it is not related to any communication problem i think.

I have had a problem with a thermostat that also did not switch off. It did not respect the floor temp limit or the set temperature, but that was a problem with the thermostat and nothing to do with Fibaro.

Yeah i assume too, that there is a problem with Heatit and not with Fibaro, but it is strange for me that alll the thermstat in the system can be wrong? Like what is the probability??
Anyway i have contacted Heatit support, and if i get some answer i will share it with you.

That is strange. I have about 10 of them and only one of them had a problem. Have you checked the configuration of them?

i reported this problem 2 Years ago....

I wasted a week on tests before I diagnosed the problem

I once heard that Hitit updated the firmware and newer devices are working properly, but this company is so unprofessional in my opinion that I stopped buying their products.

Z-TRM2 had fundamental problems as far as I remember and they we replaced with the new product on warranty.
