Devices showing as "No Connection"

Question

Posted

I often have devices on my Z-Wave network that come up in the app showing as "No Connection" in the mobile app or as below in the web interface.

Please login or register to see this image.

In LUA Scripts, I'm querying the device, and it returns the device attribute of "dead" as True.

I've also looked at the "deadReason" and it's showing as "connection"

Via the web and the app I can issue a reconnection command (just by clicking on it) but how do I re-establish the connection within the LUA script?

Thanks.

Dave

You could re-connect the same way you initially connected. And if successful, you can set the death property to false.
