Heatit termostats set temperature resets randomly back to schedule or to vacation

Question

Posted

Dear Members,

I have HC3 with several heatit termostats which controls a valve system.

Some termostats are set to vacation with a small temperature and I manually set some higher temperature if needed, for a ceartain time, few hours usually. Same for the termostats sets on schedule, if I need heating outside of the schedule, I just set a certain temperature for a certain time.

This worked fine last season, now starting this season I have the following problem:

I set the termostat manually for a higher temperature, for a certain time. I do this setup manually on the termostat buttons, or the Yubii app or on the web interface.

Randomly, I was not able to find the exact time, the set temperature disappears and switches back to the scheduled temperature or the vacation temperature, while the timer for the set temperature mentioned above is not reseting, that still showing the remaining time for which the higher temperature was set.

This happens for manual button setting, or the app, the web, doesn't matter.

Anybody encountered this issue?

The firmware is up to date, since september there were I think 2-3 updates.

Thank you.

not this exact issue, but we are having a lot of problems with Heatit Thermostat moduls. So we eventually removed Heatit brand entirely from our portfolio. We never use them again in any installation. Full of problems and bugs. I have personally several posts about Heatit problems.
Same goes for Heltun wall switches (only wall switches, because their thermostats work fine)
and Danalock is a bit problematic too (especially on eingine 2, loosing conneciont, misinterpreting states etc )
just some general info for you for the future
