HC2 has broken down. How to include all my devices into a new HC3

My HC2 is broken (doesn't start up and remains unresponsive). I have bought a new HC3, but I can't include devices that are stil included by the old HC2.

How can I take over the devices form a non working HC2 into a new HC3?

Can I use the backup of the old HC2? e.g. by using the online backup or by plugging the USB thumb drive of the HC2 into the USB port of the HC3?

 

I have opened a ticket with support, but after two weeks still no answer....

I had the same problem.

Through Fibaro support, they added the old HC2 cloud backup available for the HC3 to import so after that, i could transfer all units.

No scenes or VD´s are transferred so you need to implement these using HC3 scenes or QuickApps.

Thank you, that sounds like a good solution. How long did it take for you before they realised this? I asked two weeks ago, but nothing yet 😒

Thats strange, i think it took one day before they responded and asked me for the HC2 name and after that, maybe 2 more days until it was available in the fibaro remote page..
