Zigbee Device (Tank Water Depth Sensor)

I have a Zigbee Tank Water Depth Sensor and have successfully added it to my HC3 (see image), but it is shown as "Not Configured.

Currently there is no way to manually configure Zigbee devices in HC3. It either accepts them and they work, or that get stuck in this 'not configured' state. It's a Fibaro / Nice issue

No further steps for HC3, just delete it.

You probably can use it with Smart life (Tuya) app. 

I’m curious, what do you need it for? I’m guessing it might be to monitor the water level in a tank and trigger a notification or some action when it reaches a certain level. If that’s the case, you could probably achieve it with a ZigBee flood sensor, which supported by HC3. It’s much cheaper than a Z‑Wave equivalent (which is usually 10× the price).

    It measures the depth of water in a tank (as you thought) by measuring distance between the sensor (above the tank) and the surface of the water.  I think a flood sensor is more a binary thing (i.e. wet or dry) so won't be suitable, but thanks for your suggestion.
