  1. The latest HC2 update says: Added assigning devices to categories for easier control in the new FIBARO Home Center mobile app. Added assigning scenes to categories for easier control in the new FIBARO Home Center mobile app. so yeah I think the app will work with HC2 aswell!
  2. I see the skill available in Italy and it's for French language also, so I think it's available for you too
  3. Well, we should pretend https. Say tomorrow Fibaro is going to do this: https://www.emberlight.co/blogs/glow/emberlight-is-shutting-down No remote access, what would be going to do? We should be able to use the device standalone and in a secure way.
  4. @Lambik I totally agree with you. This is something so simple to implement yet so important that's inconceivable they are not caring about it.
  5. Any solution for using HomeTable in triggers? Triggers are the only place where I have the IDs now...
  6. Regarding HTTPS, I got this response from Fibaro Support: It's true what they say about the home router (generally) but you're not supposed to access the web page of the router at the same regularity of your domotic system! They're also offering your system to hotels so I do not see how they can say http is secure to use. You say that if I can spoof the other guests credential over wifi the system is secure? It's also true that the introduction of https for local access could increase the response time of the controller but I have not asked them to disable http, so that's a choice of the user. So I do not see any obstacle to the introduction of this functionality but only benefits. At the same time, they are incentivating the use of dynamic DNS (fixing bugs preventing it... http://bugzilla.fibaro.com/view.php?id=4154#bugnotes) which of course it's terrible since using that is sending clear-text passwords over the network (even remotely!). The DDNS functionality would be extremely positive if the app could use the HTTPS connection (which it's inexistant on the HC2, but we can at least install a proxy) Do not suggest the use of a VPN, of course it is possible but very unhandy to use just for Fibaro. I wonder when we will see the light of the HTTPS...
  7. I would like to share this with the Admins since it seems that's not the policy here and sh*t is going to hit the fan: https://www.infoq.com/articles/0-bugs-policy Have a nice read.
  8. As per title, what is and how does it work the device type "PIN"? See the attached screenshot. Thanks!
  9. About a year later and we still have this annoying notification. PLEASE give us he ability to hide it just as firmware updates.
  10. Someone also knows how to turn ON emergency mode on a light via LUA scene? Thank you!!
  11. Yes you should learn LUA I don't have any block scene, it's a mess... LUA is not so difficult to learn, you can do it!
  12. the startSource["type"] == "other" block is auto-generated to permit the start of the scene using the "play" button in the interface. So you can run the scene manually if you want to. Otherwise the scene will run the tempFunc() if started with the autorun.
