Help ! FGS221 & FGD211 Triple Click Only ?
alandee posted a question in Dimmer and BypassHi Following the great debacle that was my attempt at upgrading to 4.101 and the subsequent recovery and restore I had to do ( https://forum.fibaro.com/index.php?/topic/23287-version-1038-recovery/) I now have a situation where I can only triple click to turn lights on and off that were working beautifully with a single click just days ago They are on a dual relay, a single relay and a dimmer as well .. they all work wonderfully on interfaces, and the other relays and dimmers on lighting are all good throughout the house .. just these few. I've had these installed for a while now, and seem to think there was a trick to getting them to change from triple click to single click, but can't remember what I did ( old age ) I kind of remember a setting, but can't find that now, so they may just be missing parameters post restore .. ?? Should I be doing a soft reconfigure, reload parameters or just remove them and re add them ? Update as I typed I tried ; Soft reconfigure didn't change anything .. Reloading Parameters didn't help .. on a relay switch .. Anyone, before I remove and re add them and then have to go through and change all my old scripts on these ones, have any ideas .. Cheers, al. So I didn't remove them but updated to 4.102 and all is well. nothing changed my end, but they are now functioning as expected. Obviously the failed update to 4.101 and subsequent restore corrupted something that the successful update to 4.102 resolved Yey for Beta's ! Cheers, al.
FGD211 Dimmer Module with LED Downlights
rajp posted a question in Dimmer and BypassI have had most of our house's ceiling downlights controlled by FDG211 Dimmer modules and these have worked just fine with the 12v Halogen lights. However, yesterday, in the hope of being more energy conscious, I replaced all of these lamps with 7 Watt GU10 LED Spotlight - 70W Replacement bulbs from LEDHUT. I have also added a Fibaro Bypass to ensure there is sufficient load on the circuit. Everything works just fine except when I switch the lights on or off, there is a slight flicker. After this, the light is fine and stable. It also dims as expected too. Has anyone come across this?
FGD211 Dimmer Wiring
echozero posted a topic in FIBARO ProductsHello! I've purchased an FGD211 Dimmer module but I'm having some trouble making up the required connections for my lighting installation. What is confusing me is that I cannot map my lighting installation to any of the diagrams in the instructions. Also, any other diagram I find online regarding dimmer installations seems to assume there are three cables connecting the two switches - I only have two cables connecting the switches. You can find my lighting installation wiring diagram in attachment. Thanks in advance for any help you might give me. Best regards!
FGD211 ver.2.2 Issues with association
qazzaq posted a topic in FIBARO ProductsReaching out to u all to see if anyone can help me understand whats wrong here... I have a FGD211 Dimmer behind a dual bistable wall switch. What I'm trying to achieve is that the second button connected to S2 should control a different FGD211 unit. When I read the instructions it seems quite simple, just associate the second dimmer ID to Group 2 of the first dimmer in its advance settings... Yeah right! When I do this both S1 and S2 buttons starts to control both dimmers in a synchronized way. What ever I do to reset and reconfigure, I cant get the two dimmers to operate separately! Not sure if it matters but Group 1 have the default configuration of "1". I assume this to be the HC2 unit. Please help!!
HCL, how to trig scenes with FGD211 Dimmer?
Max68 posted a question in Home Center LiteHello, according to FGD211 Dimmer instruction manual it seems that is possible to control scene with S1 Dimmer switch, is this possible with HCL too? Nothing is mentioned in FGD211 instruction manual, it says just that is possible... If someone can help me on this showing some block diagrams example thanks!
