I use a managed laptop from my work to manage and program my hc2. Some time I can't log in on my hc2. I get the login screen an can fill in my credentials. But pressing enter or clicking on login does not give any reaction. I tried with Microsoft edge and with Google chrome. On my very old en very slow Mac Mini I tried to login with Safari and with Google chrome and both work! I think my company has set some security settings in my browsers on mij laptop. What browser settings are necessary to use the hc2 interface? My be I can set de settings my self or i can ask my company's it to set it for me. Thanks in advance for any tips!
Hello evereybody, yesterday I tried to include my hikvision camera into HC2. Therefore I used the HIKVISION Plugin. It was included successfully - and I could saw the stream of my camera. But after going to Home Overview, the Browser crashed after a few seconds. Then I had to reload the browser - and the same happend again. Finally I excluded the camera and everthing worked fine again. Somebody with similar problems?
Problem: Password Manager does not offer to save user and password Most annoyed for me was to enter a user name and password in my browser. I do not know why, maby Fibaro team specifically done this for security purposes, or it is shortcoming of browsers on chromium. Anyway, i found a little trick how to save your credentials in Opera (v. 38.0 in my case) Solution: Click Add or remove device -> Add camera (it will open new camera configuration page) -> Fill in the fields camera USER and PASSWORD with your Fibaro controller data -> Instead of press save icon just simply go to the Advanced settings tab and Opera will proposeyou to save credentials. That's all the magic Added camera you can delete afterwards without regrets. Maybe someone else knows another way to do it, but this simple solution works. Did not check in other browsers.
