Hi I’ve got a Yale assa abloy lock with the z wave module. I’m tying to notify my self if the user 2 code is used to unlock the door. I’ve got a scene but it sends a notification anytime the door is unlocked. local startSource = fibaro:getSourceTrigger(); if ) ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(624, "value")) == 0 ) or startSource["type"] == "other" then fibaro:call(578, "sendDefinedPushNotification", "550"); I assume that a value of 0 is if the lock is unlocked but don’t know any other values. I would like to know if anyone know what the value might be if someone enters the user 2 code on the keypad Thanks
August already makes one of the most consumer-friendly smart locks with HomeKit support and much more, and now a new pro version with support for the Z-Wave protocol is coming soon. August announced the new hardware and its entry into Z-Wave Alliance today. https://9to5mac.com/2017/04/04/august-smart-lock-pro-z-wave/
It would be extremely useful if the Z-Wave Deadbolt from Yale (which seems to be the most popular) could have the correct set up and templates in HC2 that you can otherwise get in Vera. I am desperate to incorporate this into my system ASAP - could you advise if this is something we will ever see happen? To illustrate the functionality available with these locks in Vera - please see this video - (Between 3:00 - 6:10 is the real functionality I am talking about) If there is any lock that is supported by HC2/Fibaro in the same way then please suggest Thanks!
