A solution for HeatIt Z-Smoke in HC2 ?
jodohl posted a question in Scenes and InterfaceHi! The HeatIt Z-Smoke is a combined Smoke/Motion/Temperature detecor. I have just realised that the support for Z-Smoke in HC2 is faulty. Here is what happens: The Z-Smoke motion detector will NOT trigger the Motion Detector device in HC2, but will trigger the Smoke detector device (!): The motion detector device will stay "Unbreached". I have made contact with HeatIt customer support, who has confirmed that this is a known bug and states clearly that this is a Fibaro problem. My previous experience with Fibaro indicates that getting this fixed will be a walk in the desert. Customer support also states that the problem is fixed in HC3. But I am NOT buying a new hub to fix this stupid error. Therefore: Has anyone a LUA workaround for HC2 for this potentially very useful detector?
I am new to the technology and have problems understanding when to use what option, when making a scene that includes the motion detector. The following options are avaiable: Add Magic scene Tripped Not tripped tripped more than X minutes Armed Disarmed Armed and tripped Add scene using graphic blocks Armed Disarmed Breached Breached and armed Breached and disarmed Safe Safe and armed Safe and disarmed Tamper tripped Tamper not tripped But when shall I use the different options and what is the difference between them? Feels like a stupid question, but hope you will still help. Thanks.
Fibaro Motion Detector - Change PIR sensitivity using LUA
eureka posted a question in Home Center 2Hi All, I am using my fibaro motion sensor for multiple purposes. For one of them I need it to have a high sensitivity, however, for others I need it to have a lower sensitivity (otherwise it will trigger to early). Is it possible to change the PIR parameter setting using LUA in a scene? edit: same question for 'GPS location frequency refresh'. When I am close to home I want to update it more often to be more accurate. If I'm far away, it can update less frequent, to save battery on my phone. Thx!
