Compatibility with Horstmann thermostat and EZ Motion 3in1

Hello,

Using my HC2, I see that Everspring products are supported by system, but not my thermostat Horstmann HRT4-ZW and relay ASR-ZW, and EZ Motion 3 in 1 triple sensor.

System detects this products but they are not working, there are not possibility to use them in scenery, etc..

These products will be compatible in future?

Hi,

EZ Motion 3 in 1 works in a certain way.

The luminosity and temperature works. I have assign notification and I receive them through mail but never for the movement detector. This module also wakes up every hour or more so it doesn't update the HC2 whit the status. you could add parameters parameters in advance tab and also change the wake up time but I never succeed to have the movement working. Also to have notification I have to press the blue button on it and so it update the HC2.

A good approach for this type of module that have additional parameter, is that Fibaro developers should when it detect some type of module, detect the type of it (I think it can detect if it is a temperature, ...) but also the provider and so could directly offer in the settings tab (or advance tab) of the module all available parameters/settings = user friendly, faster implementation and also be better than other box

I've got told, that the EzMotion 3 in 1 would be supported by the end of this week (probably with the 1.019 update).

I have 9 EzMotion devices which can't be used anymore since moving from homeseer to HC2. So hopefully that statement about "by the end of this week" holds true

Nevertheless... fibaro is doing an awesome job with support and development... i really appreciate that!

We just finished hortsman implementation. It will be supported in next update.

Ez-motion is almost done. But all we have in out lab are broken (we got very old devices) so we ordered couple of units and when they arrive will will check if everythink is ok. And put it in next update relase also.

Just a question will the interface take account of the type/model of the module ?

The EZMotion has different parameter that you could change; wake-up, luminosity, refresh of data ..., led on ? It shoudl be good that when HC2 discovers a Z-wave module it assign nice icons (already done in most of the case --> also there is a large number of icons available on HC2 but it is impossible to select 1 of the global list, it is only limited to some of them ...

i have about 10 brand new 3 in 1's at home.... just sitting there and waiting to be included in HC2.

I would be willing to test them for you.... if that's an option?

I have test 1 and after 3 or 4 days the battery was empty. Do you have the same problem ?

I saw some people that have modify it to support a power supply

When I re-add my EZMotion 3/1 it is now discover, assign the the correct Icon ... very nice.

So the component as a master id and 3 sub-id.

But:

Now the icon of light, humidity, temperature are not anymore displayed ... for the sub-id

Now I assign the master to the room, but the 3 sub-id are not assigned.

it is not logic, the sub-id (component) should also be assigned. (because they are integrated in 1)

...hummmm the EZMotion fr the temperatur:

Temperature Report

EZMotion can report the current temperature in tenths of a degree Fahrenheit.

It should be possible to convert on HC2 into Celsius

as the EZMotion is discovered without problem, I REALLY WANT :

- that the advance tab contains all possibles parameters for this module

- that I can adapt the value

- be able to reset the value to default

that is a professional/real end-user approach and not a techy approach ...

We don't develop anymore in assembler ... (rarely ...) but with advance language

but -13.6 C in my office .... I have some doubt ....
