Integrate HC2 and Satel Integra

Question

Guest GG
Posted

Hi!

I'm trying to integrate my HC2 with Satel Integra Alarm with ETHN-1.

When I try to add the Satel panel in HC2, I don't see what port to enter and which user code I should enter.

The only thing I get is 100+ dead nodes...

Please login or register to see this image.

Anyone that can point me in the correct direction?

Thanx

Hi GG,

Thabks for the reply.

The ethm module is connected to the main board.

The ethm module has an ip address and I xan actually find that address on tge network.

I believe it is detected in the main panel. Although the keypad is flashing and says set clock but I xant figure out how to set it?

The identifies or id-codes are all entered but not sure if they are correct? It just randomly selected them? Maybe the codes arebt right? How would I know what the correct id code is for the panel?

Thanks heaps!

    Hi Pt.

To set the clock, enter the service pin code on the keypad.

Select Set Clock (or something similar) in the menu to set the clock.

From the service top menu (first menu you see after entering service pin code), you can select Service mode and then Configuration.

There you can see/set all the codes.

Enter the codes into DloadX, under ID-codes. Make sure you enter them correctly.

Also make sure you have the latest firmware for the ETHM-1. You can download it from satel.pl. Download ETHM-FLASH. The program contains latest firmware for the ETHM-1 if you don't already have that.

    Hi GG,

i have the INT-TSG touch screen keypad. I have been through the menus and unusually cannot find a set clock function. I have logged into service mode, and gone into the terminal but can't figure out how to use the terminal. Is there a more in depth manual for the INT-TSG? I can only find a 'brief' manual online for it.

    Cheers,

    Hi Pt13

I Installed my alarm this weekend with a INT-TSG touchpad and I have the same issue as you have. It tells me to Set Clock but I am not able to find it in the menu. I will start troubleshoot I see what I can find out. I will then let you know. If you already found a solution for this, please let me know.

    Gday Clive,

I actually found it last night. So when you click on the key and log in to the panel you will put in the default pin (1111). Then go to Terminal and put in the pin 12345 and hit *. It will then ask you if you want to change code and hit * again. This will then give you a list of options that you can scroll up and down in. I can't remember which option it is, i think it is just 'Options' and 'Set Clock' or something. See how you go, you should be able to find it. Also to select 'OK' or 'Enter' on an option hit #. And to go back you hit *.

ON another note, have you been able to connect to the ETHM module Clive? Did you see my post above about it?

    Cheers

    OK

Yesterday i have finished installing the satel integra 32 Panel with the eth1 module...

the integra 32 can accept only 4 keypads including the eth1 module so anyone who wants to have more than 3 keypads then the integra64 will be the best choice ( i have already asked the Satel Guys to come and change the 32 to 64 because i need 5 keypads and the eth1 module

The integration to the fibaro system went without any problems.... the only thing that i do not like is that i can see all 32 partitions although i only have 6 128 zones and 128 outputs......

that makes a big list on my main screen !!

it is very nice to see that i can arm a partition from the fibaro interface....

the only thing i am a bit confused is that how on earth do i mix the satel alarm with added support from Fibaro alarm to make the system even more secure ??

also i have tried to connect to the panel with dloadx

i have put the dloadx ident dloadx key integra ident dloadx ident and ports

i have choose the ip of the eth1 but when i try to connect i get the message

connected-------- panel not ready ----- disconnected

anyone can help me with that??

    christos

PS to admins .... please make this thread sticky as satel alarm it is very helpful and powerful integration to Fibaro system

If you are unable to connect to the Integra via DloadX it is possible that you are not getting all communication through to the HC2 also.

I have overseen the integration of 15 Satel systems and from my experience, the it takes much longer than the "Configuration" or "Reload Configuration" time frame to have everything communicating properly. Sometimes after a restart or even a page refresh the HC2 interface tidies itself up and unused partitions, zones and outputs disappear from the interface. It also appears to be quite important the configuration is not interrupted by anything (even navigating around the HC2 while the popup is still active)

To use the Fibaro sensors alongside the Satel ones, configure an unused output as "Full armed status" (I think its option 21 or 22 in the list) Then use a scene to arm all the other sensors when the output switches on and disarm when off. It also becomes a fairly useful condition for power saving, home shutdown and other simple security scenes (i.e at Sunset (trigger) and Armed status = ON (condition) then turn on selected lights) to give the impression that the home is occupied.

The 2 things that must be correctly filled in for IP control over DloadX are the "Identifiers" and the ETHM-01 Config under System Structure > Hardware > Keypads > ETHM-01

Make the DloadX server the IP address of the ETHM-01 module.

Once you have access through DloadX over IP you may find that the unused partitions etc disappear as you will be communication correctly through the Ethernet interface to the panel. You may find that the Ethernet module is currently only receiving data from the panel via the BUS connection (If you unplug the RS-485 cable to ETHM-01 from the panel, you will still get feedback on the HC2 through the bus connection but its not the complete communication)

pt13, Send me a PM if you want me to call you to help with anything... I'll provide the support if you take the time to document anything you find useful and share it with the forum... Good deal?

Sometimes when you work with something so often, the minor important details get left out as they are considered basic understanding and you forget that a lot of people are doing this for the first time.. and probably won't ever need to do it again

Thank you very much for the reply....

This Is very helpful info for people like us that do not know much about programming Satel Alarms

i have found through the lcd keypad the following

    integra identifier

    DloadX Identifier

on the server IP i have put the ip of the eth1 module

    i have put the port

i have also found the dloadX key

what i'm struggling to find on the menu of the satel keypad is where do i

enable the DLOADX -> ETHM-1 CONNECTION option

and also where do i find the Dloadx Server ip so i can enter the ip of the eth1

As for using the fibaro sensors along with the satel ones... i got that ..... very clever ....

so if a fibaro sensor is breached will that sensor inform the satel alarm and ask for code?

or is this going to trigger only the fibaro alarm ??

    Gday Guys,

Johnny thanks for the offer. I was able to figure out the connection through the ETHM module. Im not exactly sure what the issue was, but i think it might have been a DHCP setting or something. The dloadX key i was orginally inputting was wrong also. Likely a combination of a few things. But its all good to go now. I connected to the panel through RS-232 to USB cable and was able to interrogate the settings through dloadx that way.

Im in the process now of programming the system now, although its not actually installed yet, im doing some of the basic stuff ready to install it. We move into our new house in the next few weeks, so hopefully in a month or so ill be getting it finalised.

Just for information i have an Integra 32 system with the ETHM module, ACU-100 for use with the APT-100 keyfobs, 4 Pro PIR's and 4 Magnetic contacts, SP-500 and the INT-TSG keypad.

I will no doubt have some questions through the process, and since i know that people are looking for information ill document whatever i can.

    Cheers

    Finally

I have managed to get the DloadX connect via ethernet.... and now Fibaro seems to show only the Used Partitions and outputs ...... All is Working fine so far

    so to anyone interested!!

    1) make sure you have the right cable going from the ethernet port rs232 to the Panel RJ port

you can find the schematics from Satel Website in Ethernet card PDF File

    2) disable the local programming function

    3) enable the EXTERNAL MODEM option;

    4) enable the MODEM ISDN/GSM/ETHM option;

    5) enable the ANSWERING - ETHM/GSM option.

having set the ip of the ethernet module and all other ident codes then connecting via ethernet should be no problem

    hewww

    now back to fibaro

    Hi

I have managed to get my Satel System going but the HC2 has a yellow triangle at the top. When I click on it I get the message:

Attention, integration with the Satel control panel is not fully configured. The control panel does not have a alarm partition named Fibaro.

I have tried to put it right by putting a partition called Fibaro in the Satel panel. It does not fix it. It probably something quite simple.

    @Brian

You need to make an extra "zone" in the Satel Integra with the name "Fibaro".

Then assign an input "Fibaro" to this Zone which will be activated when there is an alarm.

After this you need to add the Satel to your HC2 again.

    Thanks for that. Triangle gone.

Now is there a way to full set or part set the alarm from a scene or virtual device.

    (edit 20:00)

This bit ok I have found out how to do it. For example: fibaro:call(ID of partition, "setArmed").

    Below stiill needs explaining.

Also The Fibaro partition only shows up on the touch pad when I put in the administrator code.

    Is that correct?

    Sorry to be a pain.

Open up DLOADX. In the Users menu, select Users. The User form will show up. Then select the user you would like to change. At the right side of the form, select the Part/Keypads tab and check your Fibaro Partition.

Not sure what’s going on but my yellow triangle is back now. Also my partitions have lost there names ans are now showing as Partition 1 2 3 and 4. wondering if I have a faulty panel ??

I now have some scenes written in lua using the Satel. I'm worried that if I remove it from the Fibaro HC2 and re install it, I will have to change all my scenes again.

Hi Brian, can you explain how to make extra "zone" in the Satel Integra with the name "Fibaro".

Then assign an input "Fibaro" to this Zone which will be activated when there is an alarm.

OK here is what you have to do

open Dloadx Software and connect to the panel

Under structure system create one partition named Fibaro

Then in Zones Data Create one zone With The name Fibaro

On second colum assign it to the partition number you have created before

    then

at wiring type select follow output

Zone type you can select want you want

i have chosen entry exit because i have a fibaro door sensor on my kitchen door

Save to panel and then to flash

delete all scenes you have been using before in home center with the satel sensors

delete the satel alarm from home center 2

    reboot home center 2

add in panels the satel alarm system

wait and be patience with this procedure

it will take some time for this to complete

if everything is done right you will not have the triangle anymore

This is what i have done and solved my triangle problem

Hope it works for you too

And just a question to all Gurus out there

can i have more than one fibaro zones in satel alarm??

i have plenty of sensors that belong to different parts of the house and when i arm lets say the first floor i don't want to arm my window sensor in first floor.... but i just want to arm all sensors in ground floor ... but when i leave the house i want to arm all fibaro sensors

so it make sense to create more than one fibaro partition..... has anyone done this ???

    cheers

    Hi Guys,

This is a Satel Programming question hopefully someone can help me with.

I am programming my Integra 32 and ACU-100 to use the MPT-300 keyfobs to arm and disarm my zones. My question is, im pretty sure i have to set up zones that follow outputs etc., but im really unsure of how to do this, and unfortunately there is very little information in the manuals regarding this.

I know there is the Keyfobs ABAX window to be able to trigger zones from specific buttons but past that im really unsure of how to set it up. Hopefully someone can help me. Cheers,

    PT13

    @ christos

or anyone who knows the answer

Now how are you able to monitor your fibaro door sensor on your kitchen door, and how can you set off the Satel alarm if it is breached. Hope you can help as I have a Fibaro door sensor on my door also.
