Integrate HC2 and Satel Integra

Question

Guest GG
Posted

Hi!

I'm trying to integrate my HC2 with Satel Integra Alarm with ETHN-1.

When I try to add the Satel panel in HC2, I don't see what port to enter and which user code I should enter.

The only thing I get is 100+ dead nodes...

Anyone that can point me in the correct direction?

Thanx

Well Actually this is a puzzle for me too

i have gone through the Dloadx in keypads and have checked the zone Fibaro to be armed from Satel

Also i have gone to users and also checked that the zone can be armed by the user

..

During night when i arm basement zone and ground floor through satel alarm keypad

it arms the partitions.... then gives me another 30 seconds and says Fibaro ARMED

so far so good

I have created 2 outputs in DloadX named the one ARMED and used Armed Status ( option 21 ) and also FULL ARM and used output function option 22 Full armed status

HINT!!! you have to create these outputs before adding satel to fibaro OR just hit reload configuration

Then i have created a scene using blocks saying

if ID of ARMED is on then arm my 3 fibaro kitchen door sensors.......

and another scene if ID of armed is off then the 3 fibaro kitchen door sensors go disarm

NOW THE WEIRD PART

if i try and arm the satel alarm

looking at the web interface of fibaro

i see that it arms my basement and ground floor..... the armed switch goes to ON position

the sensors go to Arm status.... BUT after some seconds the Armed ststus for some reason goes back to off position disarms the fibaro zone

then i get the message 30 sec to exit fibaro zone on my satel

then agin the same

then again the same

it goes into an infinite loop......

i have been trying for some days to see why is this happening and how on earth should i use fibaro zone as an entry exit zone to the satel alarm panel informing the satel that if a fibaro sensor included in fibaro poartition trigger entry exit zone on the satel alarm

I am beginning to think that we need to have a fibaro relay connected to one of the Satel inputs/zones to receive the message from the door sensor. There are virtual outputs on the Satel but it seems no virtual inputs. So a physical connection is needed.

I have add the Satel to Alarm to my HC2, but it keeps loading...

What can I do about this?

Please login or register to see this image.

I have a created a partition named Fibaro and a zone named Fibaro in it.

I have also a user Fibaro, which is granted to arm and disarm the partition Fibaro....

The system still comes with this message:

    Schermafbeelding%202014-03-08%20om%2023.51.46.png

    And my configuration:

This also happened to me. I had to delete the Satel from the HC2 and restart HC2 3 times to get it to go. Now if I make changes to the Satel I reload the HC2 with no trouble. You do have to wait a while. Then refresh the page afterwards to see the changes.

    Thanks for your reaction!

I let the system run for this night, I wonder if it works tomorrow

    As the bit in red.

Same here. If I arm the Fibaro door sensor the Satel sets the alarm then disarms the partition that the sensor is in then disarms the rest of them.

Yes I can arm them with the manipulator, I am going to reboot my HC2 to check if this will solve the problem.

christos, yes, i will talk with Krystian about manual with that

A.Socha thanks, I am also really looking forward for this manual!

A.Socha Thanks for your help, after reboot of my HC2 + Satel alarm everything works!

I have created a simple LUA scene which might be useful for some people, with this scene you can do stuff when arming or disarming your Satel alarm.

Please login or register to see this code.

But now I am wondering something else, in the Fibaro video the Satel alarm keypad displays a temperature. Does someone know how to do this?

This is what I was referring to in my entry above. Can any thing be done to get round the problem.

    Hi All

I am now starting on my Satel Integra journey. We will be moving home soon so i want to get to grips with the system so when we move i can instal the system immediately, likely to have a few partitions, keypads etc and be a decent size instal. Most importantly though, I want it to work seamlessly with Fibaro.

I struggled to find a UK retailer but managed to order from Poland from Shop Delta

Please login or register to see this link.

and their delivery times and the whole process has been great.

As a test I have ordered the following and mounted it all to a board to play with:

    TCP/IP COMMUNICATION MODULE ETHM-1

    ALARM CONTROL PANEL INTEGRA-128-PLUS

    ALARM CONTROL PANEL ENCLOSURE OPU-3-P

KEYPAD FOR ALARM CONTROL PANEL INT-KLCD-BL

    BATTERY 12V/18AH-MW

DUAL TECHNOLOGY DETECTOR MICROWAVE + PIR GREY-PLUS

    INDOOR SIREN SPW-100

    OUTDOOR SIREN SP-4004-R

    CABLE USB/RS232-1.5M

    CABLE YTDY-8X0.5

    AC POWER SUPPLY ADAPTER TR-60VA

I read in one of the earlier someone saying they set up the system without any special knowledge but I am really struggling.

I have never wired an alarm before and I find that the installation instructions assume a good deal of prior knowledge or expertise.

I am looking for help and support on the basics of just getting the whole thing wired up properly before i start worrying about the programming.

Is it possible to see some photos of peoples panels, enclosures etc?

An example of the sort of basic issues i'm having...

What colour cables should be used fro what - is there a standard for comm, gnd, tamper, keypad clock etc or does is there no best practice with each installation being random as long as it is the same on each end?

The OPU-3-P Enclosure comes with two tamper switches, one for if the cover is removed which i have found where to mount, i can not however find where to mount the second tamper for when the case is removed from the wall - the instructions are too vague. Can anyone point me in the right direction? A photo would be great.

I am hoping for some friendly help with this project. Perhaps it would be worth me starting a new topic for Integra hardware installation and wiring. This thread could then serve as an idiots guide to Integra hardware installation and wiring.

    Many thanks

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

I just finished installation of almost the same system in my house. I can take some photos of it tonight.

The second tamper switch clicks in the back of the enclosure with the switch lever to the back.

I just made up my own color scheme.

That would be fantastic - thank you.

Could you maybe identify on the photos where the tamper switch goes?

Next question - can the siren be powered using the alarm cable? I have seen some advice saying to twist two wires together for +ve and two for -ve but have also seen other advice saying that the power should be delivered over a separate dedicate .5mm cable.

Edit: Also - what are the practicalities of the PIR installation? Do we need to dril a hole in the back to run a cable thoguht? I was expecting a cable entry point but it seems to be completely sealed?

    Hi Matt,

    As promised:

About the alarm cable: i guess it depends on the siren (input current), cable length and conductor diameter. I used cable with 4 x 0.22 and 2 x 0,5 but otherwise i would probably have twisted 2 wires together for the 12V and GND.

I can''t help you with the PIR's as I'm using wireless models.

Thank you so much for this - i now understand the tamper switch, i was trying to find a way to mount it to the reverse side of the enclosure

Sorry to ask for more help when you have already gone out of your way but would it be possible to get some shots of the main board wired up and the other modules?

    Thanks again
