Update 3.559 BETA

[A.Socha 133]

Beta version is designed for user testing.

WARNING! In case of update from old version, v1.x, after that update all users will be deleted. Admin password will be reset. Also update to Beta software all devices will be automatically reconfigured to work with new system architecture. Reconfiguration progress will be shown in pop-up window.

This update can last longer than previous. If this update lasts longer than 30 minutes, please go to main HC2 address (e.g. 192.168.0.1).

If "System temporarily unavailable" text will appear during update, please wait - you will be redirected to the main page when all services start.

3.559:

- Fibaro FGFS101 Flood Sensor support.

- Importing devices from other HC2 gateways (gateway connections).

- New virtual devices with support for iPad and Android apps.

- Changes dedicated to iPad v1.1 application and new Android application.

- Minor bug fixes.

3.558:

- RGB panel added.

- Fibaro RGBW Controller support.

- Added notifications (email and in UI) about devices low battery level.

- Support for iPad application and new Android application.

- Added possibility to sort sections, rooms, devices and scenes in configuration interface.

- New Event Panel - TimeLine.

- Possibility to move views in Dashboard.

- Possibility to change the type of binary sensor, e.g. motion sensor to smoke sensor.

- Information about last state change of the sensor (e.g. door).

- Fibaro Alarm panel added.

- Bug fixes in showing and configuring power measurements.

- Aeon Labs 4in1 bug fixes (attention, in case of not working properly, device must be re-added to the system).

Assuming temp freezing and fire are for flood sensor because it does nothing here

The version's terrific, but .....

Are there any instructions/documentation on the new virtual devices? Eg What's the"main" button do? How can I use the feature for lua "add on" to set the slider settings in my Sonos virtual device?

I'm a convert from the Vera camp, but finding the trial and error method a liitle trying

The main button and a "value slider" (if you are using one) appear on the config page and on the ipad application so that you don't need to go into the device to execute basic commands..

I.e If your virtual device was only 1 button, you would be frustrated buy having to open the full device everytime for one "main" button

Andrew, a question for freezing temp, you receive a notification when any temp sensor is reatching 1°C or this feature is for new Fibaro folding sensor?

I think new device as I set main temp sensor and freezing point to 40 degrees and nothing happened over 8 hours

Is there a timeout or does it rely on the wake up of the device? does hc check every 1 minute?

I somehow fluked a fire report off a device i had actually forgotten about in the loft! but cannot get any other device to report now! maybe its these bloody aeon multi sensors again they are annoying me now!

Ahhh I see it does work once when temp > value but not looped so it happens once until value goes under then greater again! This is why manuals help!!!! When's the revised manual out?

Hi Andrew,

Love the new virtual devices but trying to figure out how to use them is a bit challenging.

One thing I would like to do is set a label text from a remote system.

Is this call also in the web api?

Also any way to set the icon from web api?

You should read all sites on this topic and You will know this beta doesn't support remote access through home.fibaro.com Fibaro team should make it working in next few days
