Is this why Netatmo plug-in stops working after about 3 hours ?

Power Mettering may not work properly for some devices

Net Atmo plugin may stop working after few hours due API limits

UBS Temperature is not visivble on iPhone/iPad client

RGBW Controler may not work propery when used in in/out mode

Alarm Panel doesn't work in some specific configurations

    No! Due to lack of optimisation and due to abuse of netatmo API ...

    The user limit is here to prevent one user to break your app. However, the limit is quite high. Usually, reaching this limit is due to a bad design of your app.

    User limit

    50 requests every 10 seconds

    500 requests every hour

    Please fix it. It's a real need for many users !

    I am still testing, have set to 360. But general note - if you use the same APP ID and secret for other stuff - you may still be blocked - this is netatmo api limitation. Make sure you create a new APP id/secret just for fibaro (and not a shared one you also use in Weather underground or other app). I think it should do the trick.

    I have a separate APP for HC2, and also disabled the other APP that was using my account.

    Still not working...

    I really don't think this is a Netatmo API limitation...

    Even using the GETMEASURE method to retrieve the data, in my specific case there are 4 modules (2 Netatmo stations with indoor and outdoor modules), with the default 60 seconds pooling, there are 60 (queries/hour) * 4 (devices) = 240 queries/hour.

    This is well below the Netatmo API limit of 500 requests/hour/user

    Also, once the plugin "crash", why it's not resuming normal operation after some time, but it's working again after you restart the HC2?!

    And why, using any pooling setting (60 - 360), the plugin stops reporting values after the same time every time (around 3 hours)?!

    The limit of Netatmo API is per hour so logically, if there was a problem with exceeding the API limits, it should stop working in the first hour, not after 3...

    Using 300 seconds pooling...
